This is an interesting story. Accredited CPR training covers the use of defibrillators, however some teachers complete non-accredited CPR training. These non-accredited courses may not cover the use of a defibrillator – which means staff have not received the training needed to use the emergency response device. Defibrillators are the most important piece of lifesaving equipment any school, workplace or public venue can have and they are readily available worldwide. Being trained in how to use these devices WILL save lives.
